Painting

Happiness found through sight unseen,

through pencils and pastels of blue and green.

Silently singing their songs of praise,

through awareness uplifted and joy upraised.

to know and see in the presence of thee

is the gift of joy bestowed upon me

That deep desire within ourselves that leads to our highest good

Creativity

Waiting and watching , I await so near,

always listening with patient ear.

Expectant yet still, I bide my time,

I come when I will, you’ll yet be mine

.You know when I’m here, you’ll feel the thrill,

of the urge to make, to create and fulfill.

No rest or sleep will you want or need,

in the grip of creation, no nothing no creed.

The light of completion brightens a smile,

that warms the heart with innocent guile.

To sit and see the deed that was done,

is the joy that is found when creation has won

Morning

A sunlit still morning, pregnant with the pause of the day,

instils its sweet softness upon the scent of my soul.

Uplifting and caressing in its quiet soft strength,

I uphold its own yearning for its own long ascent.

not here or there, but everywhere, never very far

Joy

Kaleidoscopic views of cascading sounds,

fall upon a childlike wonder.

Oohs, aahs and unspeakable perception,

settle within a silent ocean of calm awareness.

Knower and known fused together, yet separate and distinct.

Slow burning joy descends, suffusing outbreaks of

conscious  delight, with every minute sensory touch.
